The rink is closed until colder weather.

Please return shovels upright in snow next to the opening on the rink near the shed.

Warming hut is open to the public, please turn off heat before you leave.

Fire ring is available for public use, bring your own firewood and put out completely before you leave.

Rental ice skates are available nearby at Suttons Bay Bikes on main street.

Thursday evenings there is a pond hockey league from 615pm till close, so closed for public skating but welcome to watch.

Thanks to Jesse, Jared and volunteers for making the rink skateable.

HERMAN PARK UPDATES

Will only plow the Herman Park entrance to the first curve. You can park off the road and hike in for snow shoeing, hiking, the dog park, etc.

Tennis Courts closed for the season.
Pickleball Courts 7 & 8 still have wind screens and nets in case of a major thaw.

The Dog Park will remain open, but without gates. So as to prevent damaging the gates and the need for shoveling.

The township was recently awarded a Department of Natural Resources Recreation Passport Grant of $105,000 towards an Universal Access playground at Herman Park. Please help us raise money to build a decent sized playground. Send donations to (and note for playground):
