The location of Herman Community Park fills a void on the east side of Leelanau County for active recreation. Herman Community Park is minutes from Lake Leelanau, Leland, Bingham and Omena and provides an opportunity for those communities to use this facility. Future discussions will be planned as to how best to use these facilities in conjunction with existing facilities at other locations.
